Two members of the band Ré, Eithne Ní Chatháin & Maitiú Ó Casaide dovetail with delightful ease from years of playing together, the pipes, whistle, fiddle and Eithne’s vocals. Maitiú Ó Casaide, a Dublin based piper from the esteemed Ó Casaide family, received TG4’s Young Musician of the Year Award 2015. Maitiú is also a member of Dublin vibrant trad group The Bonnymen. Eithne Ní Chatháin, a highly celebrated traditional singer and fiddle player from Co. Kildare, is well sought after for her unique, mesmerizing vocals and fluid fiddle playing style. Under the alias Inni-K, Eithne is also forging new ground with her distinct style of indie-folk.
