Monday 17th April 2017
11:00 - 14:15 St. Stephen's Green, Orchestra Stage

As part of Cruinniú na Cásca, Arena will be broadcast live from the St Stephen’s Green stage. From 11am to 1pm, Seán Rocks and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra with conductor Gearóid Grant will be joined onstage by The Hothouse Flowers, Lisa Lambe, Fiachna Ó Braonáin, Martin Brunsden, Seán Keane, Chris Meehan and his Redneck Friends, and lots more.

The Discovery Gospel Choir will perform inspirational songs from around the world while singer/songwriter Feather will bring a flavour of Sierra Leone to the Dublin stage. Into this mix throw some rap, storytelling and performance poetry and you have a very special event.

From 1.15pm until 2.15pm, Seán, along with the orchestra, will be joined by soprano Cara O’Sullivan, baritone Simon Morgan and tenor Eugene Ginty who will perform operatic favourites and traditional Irish songs. There’s something for everyone in this three-hour long extravaganza which promises to be a highlight of the Easter weekend in Dublin.
