Experiencing Ireland… as an Artist

Monday 17th April 2017
14:00 Dublin Castle – St George’s Hall

How do artists experience living and working in Ireland? Three artists – a musician, a visual artist and an author – tell their stories: where do they come from, what inspires them, what troubles them? They also address the issue that has bedevilled artists in Ireland for centuries: should they stay or should they go?

Presented by Fionn Davenport, speakers include Mark Geary (singer/songwriter), Vivienne Dick – film-maker and artist and Nuala O’Connor (author and poet).
