Athlone Castle will host a family day on Easter Monday to celebrate Cruinniú na Cásca. Admission to Athlone Castle Visitor Centre will be free of cost, and a fact-finding treasure hunt will be available for children to complete with a special prize for all entries.

The Easter Bunny will make an appearance, ready to pose for selfies, while Alice in Wonderland will be poised to paint faces in the Medieval Tent. Scheduled guided tours of the castle walls and battlements will be hosted on the day and the giant chess set will be waiting for its champion.
